I have been an artist my whole life and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I came to Eureka Springs in 2001.

I use an old master’s “lost art” technique. It involves alternating layers of white egg tempera rendering with transparent oil paint.

Special mediums are used to create a permanent bond. The tempera permits a high level of precision. The oil paint becomes like stained glass in its luminosity.

New subject matter! I will share my unique appreciation for botanical beauty in a series of small paintings.

Also, I really admire the people in our community whose very lifestyles are Art. In my new paintings I will highlight the attire, occupations, and dwellings of our many creative citizens.
