I began my journey as an artist at an early age. It was quickly noted by an elementary school teacher that I had an unusual sense of color even then.

Color is still my focus when I paint. I love color, people and nature. My paintings represent a combination of these things.

The human face is a constant inspiration to me. I especially love strong character in a face, something that stands out to make that person intriguing. My goal is to incorporate that into the portrait so it becomes not only a likeness of one's face but also of one's personality.

Flowers: the ultimate in color, design and the amazing way they grow, I love it all. Each painting is a tribute to that.
