Terry and Sara discovered each other as actors on the Passion Play set 26 years ago.

With a combined 50 years of teaching art in public high schools, Terry (originally from Missouri) and Sara (from Kansas), enjoy creating art in a variety of media.

Terry Russell works with a variety of clay bodies creating unique forms using the potter's wheel, modeling and handbuilding. Several firing techniques are employed to finish each piece.

" My clay work is inspired by life in the Ozark mountains and influenced by references of the Quapaw and Caddo peoples. The abstract work of these native artists was a reflection of their environment."

Sara Russell, inspired by nature's energy and beauty, paints portraits, figures, landscapes and still lifes in oil and acrylics.
She also creates one of a kind clay pieces-both utilitarian and sculptural. These pieces often take on a textured landscape quality.
