It's winter in the Ozarks, my first winter. We are driving on winding mountain roads with magical scenes unfolding, scenes shrouded in mist and fog. All around me, the landscape appears out of focus. The trees and distances seem mystical, magical with fuzzy, soft, blurry edges resembling my sketches of nature, or could it be the other way around?

Nature with it's moods and soft edges has always inspired me to draw and paint. To loose myself in her moods. My aim is to capture on paper or canvas Natures mysterious, and thought provoking scenes, to create a mood, an atmospheric illusion. With these ideas combined I can reveal my art's quiet strengths and subtle dramas.

This journey is forever evolving as I walk in the spirit, wherever it takes me, but always inspired by nature.
