Fiber art: contemporary art and landscape quilting with hand-dyed and painted fabrics; constructed using a layering technique similar to a collage and often employ free motion thread painting, decorative threads and details. 

Art has always been a part of my world.  My grandmother, mother and sister were all artists. I am fortunate that I may now pursue my artwork fulltime while living in the beautiful Ozarks.

My canvas is a piece of cotton and requires a different approach from painting.  The process is one I have developed and is unlike work most are familiar with. 

I love creating works that people are amazed to see is made of cloth and thread. It is a constant source of delight and challenge for me.
