A Native New Yorker and former resident of North Carolina and Mississippi, Maureen found herself in Arkansas in 2007, a surviver of Hurricane Katrina, the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties and oughts. "I create because it is as essential as breathing."

Assemblage Art - using found objects such as metal, glass, organic and non-organic materials, and textural and reflective objects.

These sculptural offerings are decorative art in their own right - evocative, deco and art nouveau influenced innovations that are engaging and compelling - and somehow mystifyingly not 'found object' art in the traditional sense.
