I am an immigrant, the son of Holocaust Survivors. I escaped the New York Metropolitan area in 1970, discovered Eureka Springs in 1973 and moved here in 1977.

I make art because.... I love to make stuff that's joyful, am unemployable and don't know what else to do.

Tuned Musical Wind Chimes/Sculpture

I look for musical sounds in common and found objects. Recently I deconstructed a John Cage piano piece for 41 windchimes to hang in the Sculpture Garden of the Walker Art Museum in Minneapolis. My specialty is Custom Tuned Musical Windchimes and Sculptures.

To me art is about the PROCESS of creation. A piece of finished work at the end is a bonus. If I can make someone laugh or touch off a spark of interest or enthusiasm every day, I've done my job.
